 This post is brought to you in light of the MASSIVE Johnson&Johnson’s recall last week.

 In total, J&J faces over than 100,000 lawsuits. More than 15,000 of those are from people who say baby powder and other talc-based products caused them to develop cancer. Some have mesothelioma, an aggressive cancer that is considered the signature disease of asbestos exposure, while others have ovarian cancer.

 In addition to talc as the common denominator in those two cancers… it has also been linked to causing lung and respiratory distress when inhaled and creating what is known as Talcosis.

Talcum powder is a mineral based ingredient that has been in use since 1894. Most frequently seen in:

•Face powders
•Liquid foundation
•Blush
•Bronzer
•Eyeshadow
•Lipstick
•Bath bombs
•Dry shampoo
•Deodorant
•Soap
•Feminine hygiene products
