Let me be begin by being clear… I don’t ever suggest a gummy vitamin as the most ideal choice for getting nutrients of any kind.
Real organic food, organic herbal teas, organic herbal remedies, and organic food created supplements will always be my number one suggestions when aiming to round out your nutritional intake.
But I get it… sometimes it’s tough if you or your children aren’t able to swallow supplements with ease.
As I was browsing around at various gummy vitamins for this post…I was seriously appalled.
They almost all proudly exclaim somewhere on the label how “healthy” they are… and then the ingredient labels were a train wreck. Some common ingredients that you definitely want to avoid on a gummy label are:
🚫 Corn Syrup // HFCS
🚫 Refined Sugar // inorganic sugars
🚫 Artificial Sugars (aspartame, sucralose, acesulfame K, etc.)
🚫 Dyes (appear on a label as a color word like “yellow” or “blue”)
🚫 Artificial Flavors
