Overnight Oats

These are one of our family favorites!

They’re fun to prepare together, they’re super filling, it’s never boring because you have endless flavor possibilities, and it’s a great way to hide super foods in the boys’ breakfasts!

And I’ll be totally honest here, my friends…
  • My countertop is always a total disaster when I prep our mason jars, so you can enjoy this beautifully artistic picture of delicious variations instead of my hot mess
  • I also just wing it with our recipes! So I gathered up some yummy options to help get you started if you’re new to overnight oats, but essentially all you need is…

🥣 Organic gluten free oats
•We use these: One Degree Organic Foods Sprouted Rolled Oats– I also have a discount code for new Thrive Market members if you’d like it
🥛 Milk of choice
•We use this recipe for homemade vanilla cashew milk: Cashew Cream with Wild Blueberries and Toasted Flake Coconut
🍯 Sweetener of choice
•We use raw honey, organic maple syrup, or organic jelly/jam
🍦Most recipes also call for greek yogurt
•We prefer using coconut yogurt or homemade cashew cream
🍓 Fixin’s of your choice
•Vanilla extract, almond extract, berries, chia seeds, nut butter, chopped fruits, shredded carrot, shredded coconut, dried fruits, chocolate chips, nuts, jelly, pumpkin purée, cinnamon, raisins, molasses, ginger, pumpkin spice
🍇 Mix-Ins of your choice
•Protein powder (Truvani), superfoods powders (Your Super), or just organic cacao powder

Step 1️⃣ Mix up your ingredients in a mason jar – they’ll look kind of soupy initially
Step 2️⃣ Pop them in the fridge overnight
Step 3️⃣ Try not to eat them ALL before noon the next day
