Educating on specific ingredients is my FAVE thing to do here in Living Well Mama! 𝐌𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬… even if it’s just a few blacklist ingredients that you’re able to remember… when you see it on a label, you’ll know to put it back on the shelf!

Here’s why it doesn’t deserve to be in your home ⇊

🚫 Propylene Glycol is a type of alcohol commonly used in skin care, cosmetics, personal care. It is even in some processed foods, medications, and the majority of e-cigarettes.

🚫 It is created through a three step process, and step two (before the hydolyzation process) is considered a “known carcinogen”.

🚫 It is a known skin irritant and is frequently associated with contact dermatitis.

🚫 Negative side effects can occur with products using this ingredient in concentrations as low as 2%

🚫 It’s a main component in Anti-Freeze products
